Music
Let us take a moment to reflect on the profound effects of music on the human mind.
I am currently listening to Bennie K’s song, Oasis. It’s an upbeat piece with great vocals and a catchy melody. An amazing song that puts me into a great mood every time I listen to it. There’s nothing I enjoy more than walking back from class and listening to this song. People often look at me because I literally grin while walking.
Now, I am listening to Back Horn’s song, BLACK HOLE BIRTHDAY. The song is almost violent in it’s crashing chorus and double time drumming. The intense vocals send chills down my spine, literally. It is as if I can feel Yamada’s agony as he belts out the ever changing styles of the song. When I am listening to this song, I feel energized, powerful, and determined. This is the song I bench press to; it often adds 5 or more pounds to my max.
Finally, I am now listening to the top played song in my entire music library. The song is called Keshou Naoshi and is done by Shiina Ringo’s band, Tokyo Jihen. In my top 25 lists, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th songs have 76, 75, 73, and 72 plays, respectively. Keshou Naoshi has a play count of over 312. This is the song that I listen to every night at the end of the day. When I first heard it, I listened to it through 9 times in a row. The constant, soothing vocals, the ridiculously emotional chorus, the horns, and the subtle piano solo towards the beginning, contested by the brass solo in the instrumental, and finally, the out of nowhere ending; these are the reasons that I can litearlly listen to this song, non stop. I do in fact, often listen to this song non stop. I once read In Cold blood for an hour and a half listening to only this song. This song has a profound effect on my concentration and takes care of any negative emotions that might be festering in my mind.
I literally couldn’t live without music. I can be having the worst day in the world, throw on some bonobos, and suddenly feel 100% better. I might not be in the mood to trick, but then I’ll throw on an Acidman cruncher and be good to go.
How do you feel about music?
I LOVE IT.
Crazy good deal!
“Check this out!! Crazy good eal on an insane Mp3 Player!!! “
Philip Glass
“You know when you’re watching a movie, one of those crazy good ones, and the hero has just learned that ‘certain thing’? The kind of scene where the camera pans around the protagonist while he is in awe of what he now knows? Then, the best part of all, there is this crazy epic piano music that is really, really sick, but you never know WHAT that music is? It was probably Philip Glass.
You need to check this guy out. Once you do, you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say this man has created some of the most moving piano pieces in the last 100 years.

Final Fantasy XII
My friend JASON is playing final fantasy XII right now. It seems like a ‘pretty sick’ game. I’ve always loved the final fantasy series, especially FF7. The character design and development in that game is absolutely ridiculous! And man, nobeou uematsu knows how to make some sick music. I’ve spent hundreds of hours playing final fantasy ish on the piano. needless to say I’ve forgot most of it. deng. sorry about the issues with the main page, it’ll be fixd up soon.
Tricking
I tricked hard for the first time in a couple weeks on tuesday, and MAN did it feel nice! My gainerfulls were back on, my sideflips were crazy, and I nearly landed some crazy new stuff. I can’t wait to release a new sampler, but I want to wait until I have some sick stuff before I do. That being said, next sampler I release is going to be with the one and only JAKE, this CRAZY trickster from the ‘incredible’ video. be on the look out!
Dashboard
Dashboard Confessional: I cant stand emo bands. They all sound the same; they all sound like crap. Which is why I love Dashboard Confessional. Its an emo band that manages to pull itself apart from the crowd. If it caught my attention, Im sure it will catch yours as well.
Ill say this straight away, the vocals are where this band shines. Yes, he does talk about girls, yes he does talk about breaking up. But the thing about dashboard is that its actually believable. This guys voice is so pure, which make the lyrics so much better. The contrast between vocal clarity and depressed lyrics represents the dichotomy and genius that is dashboard confessional. Hands Down is THE dashboard song to listen to. I promise that if you check this song out, youll be hooked.
They also did that one song from Laguna Beach, but I cant remember what its called. In any case, check out this extremely emotional band. Im sure youll relate to and love this band.
To you!
To the man who sent me the Edo Town Mp3, from mystical ninja, send me a PM in the forum, or hit me up on MSN. It’s very important.
