complicated

Here’s the update. I called the hospital, they said I needed a referral for an appointment. So I called the doctor and they told me the already sent it. Called the hospital again and got an appointment, but found out my insurance didn’t cover it (the MRI is 3,000 dollars) so instead I had to find out the hospitals in the area that are covered, call the doctor again, and send out more referrals. Now I’m waiting to here back from the doctor to see when the referrals get processed. what a pain (in the hip! LOL)

Work is boring and stressful as always, but it gets me free food and a bunch of money, so I can’t really complain. I can still train, if only my upper body lol. Gotta keep working hard! handstand pushups are coming back :D

blag

“I haven’t gone in for my MRI yet, but I’m really thinking about it. If I am diagnosed with the labral tear then I definitely won’t be able to trick for a long, long time. This is really scary for me; it’s not like I won’t be able to trick. This is an injury where I wouldn’t be able to trick, breakdance, squat, or do any kind of lower body training, save maybe some ankle conditioning and calf strengthening. That’s really scary to me. I’ve trained my ass of the past 3 years, and coming to a sudden stop is really, really frightening. I can’t imagine if the doctor said something like “”you need to stop tricking, for good.”" But I think he might. ahhh! When I get my MRI they’re gonna stick a big ass needle into my hip and fill it with some MRI liquids. Sounds gross.

outside of tricking, work is going well. so I can’t complain there. People are basically throwing me money from all different directions.

In terms of girls, I’m still confused and need to be single for a lot longer before anything happens. yay for no bs! yay.”

UGgggggh!!!

This is what I call lamesauce: I went to the doctors today because I was experiencing hip pain, and he thinks I may have torn the lining of my hip joint. I’ll be going in for an MRI within a couple days to see what’s going on, and if I have the tear, it means I’ll have to get surgery. Here’s the lame part: I won’t be able to surgery done before I leave for Japan, because I would have to rehabilitate after the procedure, and that would take a long time. So I’ll probably have to have the surgery when I get back. Which means I might not get to trick in Japan! BLAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gainer, lifting, work

I did a gainer today for the first time in a while, and it felt nice. It felt fast, clean, and powerful. I love what water work does for your tricks! But anyway, while I was pulling my arms up I think I might have pulled my lat lol it hurt like a B afterwards. Hopefully it’s ok when I wake up tomorrow. Lifting is going well! I’m doing supersets for my chest and tris on monday, wednesday, and friday, and I literally just finished today’s workout. I haven’t even showered yet! EEW!! Also, I got a 2,000 dollar check today for work! Yay! too bad work is hella stressful lol. peace!

numbers

What are the numbers on the main page? Well, you may have noticed by now that the numbers are in fact counting down. To be more precise, they are counting down the days until a certain event. perhaps I should say events, and some extremely significant changes to Dogentricks.com :) There will be small updates along the way, but I intend on keep this, for the most part, hush hush. :) time for bed!

Partying

“Last night was one of my fraternity brother’s birthday party. We went to his house in bellevue and partied it up. What exactly is partying it up? What are my views on alcohol? Well

To begin with, I don’t drink, and never intend to start. The same goes for smoking, but I find smoking much more repulsive. When I found out that my older brother was drinking during high school I was really disappointed in him. When he tried to justify himself by saying, “”you’ll start soon, just wait.”" I never drank in high school. So when I left for college, he said, “”you’ll definitely drink in college, EVERYONE does it.”" I just finished my sophomore year in college and I still have never drank.

I don’t really mind if other people are drinking to get a little buzz and loosen up, but without fail everytime I’m around people that drink, they get drunk, and things just go down hill. I like having fun, but I like being healthy even more. Training is the most important thing to me, and diet is a key to training. People say, “”you’re mising out on so much!”" But I disagree. 100% of the people that have told me that can’t do the things I can do. In my eyes, they are missing out on so much more. There is such a clear cut distinction between fun and satisfaction.

Training is my life, above all else. Whether drinking would make a small or big difference doesn’t matter. What matters is that it makes A difference, which it would. It’s the same reason I don’t drink soda. It’s simply bad for you and something that would get in the way. No regret training :)

New Routine

Yo friends! So, I’ve been on my new routine for 3 days now and it feels amazing! I’m gaining weight suprisingly fast, I weighed in at 147.5 wednesday, 148.5 yesterday, and 151 today. I always use 2 scales, weigh myself at the same time, and wear the same clothes, so I know that I’m making progress. the h20 training is awesome, I always forget how great the water feels haha. and I’m already noticing huge improvements to my abs and arms (which I have been lightly conditioning for about a week now). Diet really does make all the difference, you wouldn’t believe how much I have to eat though haha. Anyway, check the updates section.

Morning

Right now it’s about 9 oclock and I’m waiting for my training partner to get here. We walk to gym, swim, then do H20 training. Following that we do partner and isometric stretching and usually a light core workout. At nights, I’m lifting 2 muscle groups a time, tonight will be chest and triceps :) yay for training. yay for 4000 calories a day!!!

Summer Training

Today I started my last training program before leaving for Japan. I’m so excited haha. I couldn’t work out for a while because of the injuries that I got from tricking and because I had to have my wisdom teeth out. So that sucks, but it’s alright, because now I’m starting again.

It felt so good to start training again! It’s been about 2 weeks since I last did anything, so I’m really excited to get this done. I’ll be swimming, stretching, weightlifting, and some minor tricking. The major goal of this routine is to gain 10 pounds of functional muscle mass, while keeping my injuries on the low down. I lost a lot of weight since last summer, so I’m trying to get fat before I leave. Last quarter I tried to do mostly flexibility training, but I hurt my hips, so I can’t do that right now. Sorry mari! haha So, I’m trying hardest to hit my obliques and hamstrings. Hopefully developing these muscles will have both an athletic and asthetic benefit to tricking!

I want to be in top shape by the time I leave, so from today forward I’m trying my hardest. yea yea.
