7. Did you learn to ride in the states on a friend’s motorcycle or did you just teach yourself in japan when you got the ninja? I know you mentioned about getting a general license for a foreigner for a year or so, but i don’t remember if you said that you had to specifically get a motorcycle license or not? You probably had to take a test like you do here in the US but maybe not.

   Man I’m jealous – I’d almost rather give up tricking to ride across the japanese countryside on a bike. You’re going to have so much material for the numerous novels you will no doubt write while teaching english at Keio when your 40. I wish I had lofty dreams and goals like you do The only goal i have now is to somehow manage through college.
